CVHA currently has a Term Maintenance Contract with a contractor to provide repairs and maintenance services. This contract has been in operation for several years. Tenderers are advised that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as may be amended from time to time (\"TUPE\") may apply to this second-generation contract. That is to say that if the current contractor is unsuccessful in providing the services (or part of them) after July 2020, and another contractor take over these activities, any of the current contractors' staff who form part of an organised grouping of employees whose principal purpose is carrying on those activities on behalf of CVHA, may transfer to the new contractor under TUPE with all rights and liabilities intact and retaining their existing terms and conditions of employment.
