It is designed to replicate the real-world environment which mirrors the undulations your ball will find out on the golf course. The state of the art technology can be found in very few golf facilities throughout the UK. It bridges the gap between practicing and playing golf and would enable students to accelerate there learning of awkward lies, green reading, start direction, pace control and replicates the thoughts and feelings from the golf course. PuttView PuttView is a visual toolbox for putting practice. The Augmented Reality System provides visual feedback on all important parameters of a putt (read, line, speed). Foresight GC Quad The GC Quad is a wireless launch monitor that estimates the ball and club data through four high speed cameras. Along with Trackman this unit is the most up to date in the industry and would enable the students to gain a greater understanding of club and ball data as well as compare against Trackman from an educational standpoint. Swing Catalyst / GASP force plates Swing catalyst combines swing analysis software with state of the art pressure plates. The pressure plates enable the user to understand the distribution of mass and pressure dynamically throughout the golf swing. This relatively new technology has not been introduced to the students and would help build crucial knowledge relevant to the golf coaching module. High Speed Camera's The high speed cameras link to both the launch monitor and pressure plates, using the relevant information in conjunction with slow motion video analysis. Trackman 4 (1 x upgrade, 1 x new purchase) As above with the substitution of Trackman 4, the competitor launch monitor to Foresight GC Quad. The use of both Trackman and GC Quad will allow the students to use and perform tasks comparing industry leading technology, preparing for work placement. Sam Putt Lab Wireless 2019 The current Sam Putt Lab is outdated and less functional. The new wireless putt lab has improved graphics and data gathering and includes a more detailed putting analysis report. This equipment will give the students an essential understanding in putting impact factors and putter fitting. Indoor Putting Green Cost The indoor putting green will act as the hub of the golf facility. It would allow students to practice effectively indoors in large groups whilst also instructors to deliver coaching sessions in a large open space.
