The classes will aim to develop the student's general language skills, which will be of value in both working life and social situations. The classes must also provide students with a sound knowledge of relevant aspects of the contemporary society of the country in question. Each student will have a tutor who will mark and offer feedback on written and spoken tutor-marked assignments, as well as providing advice and guidance both individually and to a tutor group.",
