The Park's 360,000 yearly visitors enjoy quality landscapes and an accessible network of routes that provide access to natural and built heritage. Park staff lead a programme of educational and leisure activity, supporting 8000 participants a year. The Park is a key resource for other private, community and voluntary organisations and supports their delivery of leisure, sporting and environmental pursuits. The facility is constrained by its size and design and services offered are becoming increasingly compromised. For the Park to become more sustainable it needs more flexible accommodation. This will increase the volume and variety of use and extend the Park's seasonal visitor offer by providing dedicated teaching/educational space that can be used continuously throughout the year. CSVC sits adjacent to Castle Semple Rowing Club (\"CSRC\"). CSRC also seek to extend their accommodation to meet growing user demand. Their current accommodation sits on leased land owned by the Client. CSRC will collaborate with the Client to identify a design solution for additional accommodation that meets their needs and the needs of the Park. The Client -- as owners of the Park -- seek to commission a design exercise for the construction of additional visitor accommodation at CSVC and the creation of new build elements and repurposing of existing accommodation at CSRC The outputs of this exercise will provide a design solution that help the Park and the CSRC be more accessible and increase their capacity for economic, leisure and educational activity. The Consultant will provide the Client with a suite of information for a tender-ready construction project. The Consultant will carry out all tasks and deliver all outputs as per stages 1-4 of the Small Project RIBA Plan of Work as shown in Appendix 2 -- 'RIBA Small Project Plan of Work' (except for submitting a building warrant, planning application and coordinating a tender exercise).
