                "description": "The University of Strathclyde wishes to procure an Aqueous Gel Permeation Chromatography system. This system is tailored toward the characterization of water-soluble polymers and proteins (aqueous GPC) encompassing a suite of three detectors (refractive index, UV-vis, and light scattering). This will allow measurement of molecular weight, molecular weight distribution, hydrodynamic radius, and aggregation of these macromolecules. This will enable determination of the mechanism of water-based polymerizations, characterization of biomaterials, 3D bioprinting inks, drug delivery systems and polymers from renewable resources.
