    "description": "Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts on the economy (including, in particular, on the tourism and events industry), additional grant funding schemes have been made available by the Scottish Government. These schemes will be administered by VisitScotland on behalf of the Scottish Government, and this means that further grant assessment services need to be provided by the supplier to support VisitScotland in its administration of the schemes. In line with SPPN 04/20, this sub-threshold contract has been modified in accordance with the principles of Regulation 72(1)(c) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The need for modification has been brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority could not have foreseen, the modification does not change the overall nature of the contract and the value of the modification does not exceed 50% of the original advertised contract value.
