The survey should gather all the information required to create the asset list and schematic drawings. Asset list/drawings: Create a full asset list of all fire dampers, detailing - location, ID number, type of damper and where access hatches require to be cut in ductwork. The Contractor will be expected to provide a schematic drawing in pdf format for each ventilation system, indicating the location of each damper in relation to the building fabric and noting the damper ID number. Maintenance/Testing of Dampers: Carry out the maintenance and testing of each damper on an annual basis in line with Manufacturers recommendations and appropriate British Standards. This must include as a minimum physically dropping the damper to demonstrate its effectiveness: cleaning channels and runners, applying (light) lubrication where necessary, and re-setting each damper.",
