Manufacturers are required to have the relevant certification to be able to construct such door sets which have been tested and certified to the current required standards. The contractor is required to not only supply just single fire doors, but door sets where there is a door with fanlight above or with a sidelight or sometimes both. The contractor is required to be able to supply a full bespoke door screen which complies with current standards.",

South Lanarkshire Council made the decision to Direct Award from the above mentioned framework to CCG (Scotland) Ltd as they are ranked 1st out of the 6 contractors on Lot 4- Timber Fire Doors based on price and quality in the tender evaluation conducted by LHC for their appointment to the Framework. The anticipated value of the contract is approximately GBP 8,406,000.00. However, the Council gives no commitment or guarantee that this level of estimated spend will be achieved during the contract period. The fire doors will be 'called off' on a tower-by-tower basis following verification by the Council.",
