    "description": "Moray Council is encouraging local suppliers to tender for their upcoming Building Repair and Maintenance Framework contract. Moray Council hope to capitalise on this new contract opportunity to support and endorse our existing local suppliers by inviting them to tender. We are also welcoming new suppliers, who can provide planned and reactive maintenance works for both council buildings and the Council's housing stock, to get involved as well. The Council's Property and Procurement teams have been engaging with local suppliers to encourage them to apply for our public contracts to stimulate the development of Moray's community wealth. Moray Council will be attending Meet the Buyer North at UHI Moray on the 7th September 2022 where there will be a specific stand to discuss this framework opportunity. Moray Council would encourage suppliers who are interested in having a chat to register for the event. Our Procurement and Property Teams also plan to arrange an informal drop in session which all interested suppliers are welcome to attend. Location, time and date to be confirmed. The 3 +1 years contract is to provide planned and reactive repairs and maintenance requirements for both council buildings and the Council's housing stock and is estimated to be published on Public Contract Scotland Tender in mid-October 2022. Interested suppliers can detail whether they have an interest in servicing housing stock, commercial buildings and/or both. Bidders can submit a tender for one or multiple trades depending on their capacity and ability. The desire to work in planned repairs and maintenance, reactive repair and maintenance or both can also be expressed. Suppliers looking to tender for contracts should register with Public Contracts Scotland and Public Contract Scotland Tender to receive details when the tender lots go live. Once advertised an alert will be sent to registered suppliers. Further information can be requested up until the tender is advertised by emailing procurement@moray.gov.uk.
