    "description": "Award against framework: Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Fuels 2 Framework Agreement RM6177 Following the introduction of the next generation of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Fuels 2 framework agreement, Scottish Procurement undertook a further competition from this CCS framework on behalf of the Scottish Public Sector to consolidate its fuel supply which the Council participated in. Whist the Contract has a maximum 5000000GBP value set against it, this is based on historic usage and additional contingencies based on the recent increase in inflation. However, as the Council hopes to implement various new vehicle types e.g. electric, hybrid, hydrogen etc, the demand for fuels such as diesel and petrol which are the highest spend areas for liquid fuel should start to reduce therefore reducing future demand and anticipated spend within the Contract.
