                "description": "The Trunk Road Network (TRN) is highly vulnerable to climate related hazards and is already experiencing the impacts of climate change with more frequent instances of weather-related disruption. With further changes to the weather systems projected, it is essential to increase the resilience of the TRN to adapt to the current and future impacts. To maintain a resilient TRN and drive the change required to adapt the network, we must plan and understand what effect the future impacts of weather-related climate change will have on the TRN. The scope of works requires a consultant to undertake a climate vulnerability and risk assessment using the latest UK Climate Change Projections (UKCP18) from the Met Office. The results from this assessment will be used as a future baseline to understand the potential risks and impacts in each region across the TRN and inform strategic decisions to increase future weather resilience.
