Traditional silica-based chromatography is often challenging with polar/hydrophilic/charged molecules such as many natural products, peptides and oligonucleotides. The inability to isolate such compounds on a usable scale is often the bottleneck for lab discoveries and consequently inhibits translation into commercial or clinical products. Flash chromatography is an automated and high-throughput purification tool for a wide range of compounds where finer separation is not required, but larger scale is the priority (multi gram scale).",
