This Contract provides ongoing support and maintenance for this EPOS system. The EPOS system has been developed over a number of years, to fully integrate with SPS' existing internal prisoner record system. As these developments have been written and implemented by Lapsley Ltd, any new supplier would not be familiar with the full range of functionality that the software now offers and the complexities of the technical integration with the prisoner record system. The proposed contract term aligns with a separate project which is assessing services which may be provided in an in-cell environment in future.",
