This route was unsuccessful, with suppliers either not able to meet the meet the specification or did not respond. Market research was undertaken and it was deemed there were no suppliers outside the framework that could meet the requirements. This resulted in a non-competitive action recommendation being the preferred course of action. LSUK (Linev) are able to meet the requirement set by the School of Chemistry within the budget set. No other providers out-with those on Framework LAB3162 and the Linev Group were identified during risk and market testing by Procurement. No alternative specifications could be used as it would have a direct impact on the research outputs and deliverables.",
