## Summary

Cambridgeshire County Council has concluded the procurement process for a Lead Local Flood Data Management System to enhance flood risk data management and compliance with the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 and the Land Drainage Act 1991. This tender, identified as CCC001-DN758906-90586022, falls under the "Software package and information systems" industry category. The procurement was conducted via an open procedure and has advanced to the award stage with Livedata Limited, an SME, being the successful supplier. The contract, valued at £50,500, commenced on 28th April 2025 and is set to run until 30th June 2027. Businesses were required to submit their quotations by 11th February 2025.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for IT businesses specialising in integrated data management solutions, particularly those with expertise in spatial mapping and software compliance for environmental regulations. SMEs and VCSEs are highly encouraged to take note of such opportunities for business growth in the public sector. The successful supplier, Livedata Limited, exemplifies how specialised IT service providers can meet public sector needs through innovative solutions, thereby enhancing their market presence and contributing to efficient public services.

## Notice

The Council invites quotations for the provision of a data management software solution suitable for use by Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs) to manage text data, spatial data, customer enquiries related to flood risk management, planning applications and land drainage consents. Solutions are now sought to pull all our flood risk data together into one single system that will be key to maximising the effectiveness of that data held. The software must capture and manage flood risk data in compliance with the requirements of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 and the Land Drainage Act 1991. It must also provide the capability to hold or link to all relevant documents, integrated spatial mapping functionality, and ensure efficient data accessibility and management for LLFA operations.
