This tender provides the opportunity for contractors to secure a place on Unitas' Drainage Framework. The purpose of the framework is to provide Unitas with contractors able to deliver drainage related services at various locations in the Stoke-on-Trent area. The drainage services required from providers on this framework will include: * Clearing blocked drains by pressure jetting * Undertaking CCTV surveys * Excavating, locating and replacing existing drains * Undertaking repairs to existing drains * Contractors are required to provide emergency cover 24/7 for 365 days per year in the Stoke on Trent area with a 4 hour response time from the point a job is initially distributed. The framework will consist of three contractors and will utilise direct call-off of the contractor which is ranked in first place. Contractors in second and third place will be offered the opportunity to carry out work if the first (or second) placed contractor declines the work, or if Unitas decides to employ additional resources from the framework (a full description of the award procedure is outlined in Schedule 1 of the attached draft Framework Agreement). Holding a position on this framework offers no guarantee of work, but we expect that the contract is worth approximately PS80,000 per annum. The framework will be valid for two years.
