## Summary

The Radioactive Waste Management Limited (RWM), a subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), is initiating the Higher Activity Waste Framework Agreement, scheduled to commence in February 2020. This procurement, classified under research and development services, has a total budget of £9.5 million and will support the management of Higher Activity Waste (HAW) over a four-year period, concluding in February 2024. Key activities include a Supplier Open Day taking place on 17th September 2019 at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham, where potential suppliers can gather more information and confirm their interest in participating.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in radioactive waste management and consultancy services. Companies with experience in waste management and those able to demonstrate qualified expertise in providing specialist resources and services will be well-suited to compete for contracts under this framework.
