The aims of the service are: * To reduce in patients attending Accident and Emergency/Urgent Treatment Centre for minor illnesses; * To reduce burden on Primary Care services in GMS delivery; * To improve patient access to community services; * To improve patient choice and experience; * To provide clarity regarding activity to inform on-going commissioning needs; * To provide an equitable, patient focussed and easily accessible service; * To provide clear pathways for the management of care for patients from this vulnerable cohort; and * To provide promotion of self-care techniques and preventative measures to improve health and wellbeing of Asylum Seekers.
