## Summary

Broseley Town Council has announced a tender for the installation of Christmas lights in Broseley for the year 2026. The procurement process is currently in the tender stage, with key dates including the tender period ending on 2 June 2026, and the installation starting on 1 November 2026. The contract encompasses several key responsibilities such as installation, maintenance, and dismantling, with work taking place at Broseley, postal code TF125EL. The procurement method is through limited competitive quotations below the threshold, and the industry category is centred around Christmas tree lights, exterior lights, and maintenance services for public-lighting installations. Interested parties must ensure minimal disruption to traffic during installation and be present for the switch-on event scheduled on 28 November 2026.

This tender offers significant opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in electrical installations and maintenance to expand their business footprint. It involves not only the installation of lights and features but also maintenance during the display period and post-event dismantling, offering ongoing work until 12 January 2027. Businesses with expertise in handling public-lighting projects and providing electrical equipment and apparatus services are well-suited to compete for this opportunity. The procurement is geared towards companies that can provide comprehensive service handling from installation through to dismantling and maintenance, ensuring quality and reliability in festive lighting solutions.
