## Summary

The NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has concluded the procurement process for the provision of General Practice Appointment Booking Services to replace the expired national contract previously held by Accurx Limited. The procurement, managed with the support of the NHS England National Commercial and Procurement Hub, aimed to secure a booking solution that integrates with general practice clinical systems and supports digital modernisation. A selective call-off from the Crown Commercial Service G-Cloud 13 Framework was used to identify the most suitable provider, resulting in the award of the contract to Accurx Limited. The initial contract period began on 1 July 2024 and will continue until 31 March 2025, with an option to extend for an additional six months. The contract is valued at £116,319.99 and covers services primarily within the East Midlands region.

This tender offers significant opportunities for business growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that can provide software solutions to healthcare sectors. Companies with expertise in cloud software and integration with existing healthcare IT systems would find this contract beneficial. By participating in such procurement activities, businesses can enhance their market presence in the healthcare industry and form valuable partnerships with NHS entities. This procurement highlights the importance of modern digital systems in transforming general practice services, thereby presenting a substantial market for innovative technological solutions.
