## Summary

The Department for Education is initiating a procurement process for "Turing Scheme Administration Services" as part of a selective tender under the Crown Commercial Service's Grant Administration Dynamic Purchasing System (RM 6172). This process is currently in the tender stage, with submissions due by 20th August 2021. The contract is expected to commence on 22nd November 2021 and run until 31st December 2023, with an estimated value of £6.9 million. The services will facilitate the administration of the Turing Scheme, which supports students from UK universities, colleges, and schools in overseas placements, particularly benefitting disadvantaged backgrounds.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in administrative and educational services, particularly those with experience in grant management. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, as the procurement is designed to be inclusive. Companies that can efficiently handle funding processes and have the capacity to manage varying budgets will be well-suited to compete in this tender, ensuring that educational institutions can access funding for international mobility from 1st September 2022 onwards.
