## Summary

Isle of Wight Council commissioned apprenticeship training services for learners in the South East of England, with delivery centred on the Isle of Wight. The requirement covers four programmes: Chef de Partie at Level 3, Customer Service Practitioner at Level 2, Customer Service Specialist at Level 3, and Leisure Team Member at Level 2. This award demonstrates established demand from Isle of Wight Council for apprenticeship provision across hospitality, customer service and leisure occupations. A credible future competitor would need the capability to deliver the complete Skills England standards for the relevant programmes, recruit and support learners, and provide suitably qualified teaching, assessment and employer-facing staff. Coverage of several programmes would strengthen a provider’s position, although the award structure shows that individual providers can be selected for overlapping lots. Relevant experience in apprenticeship delivery, quality assurance, learner progress management and compliance with apprenticeship funding and assessment requirements would be important. The requirement suited SMEs, so smaller specialist training providers may compete effectively where they can demonstrate reliable delivery capacity and local or regional support for Isle of Wight learners.

Further competition for the Provision of the following apprenticeship programmes via the Authority's Provision of Learning and Development Services via a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) DN262146: LOT 1 - Chef De Partie Level 3 LOT 2 - Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 LOT 3 - Customer Service Specialist Level 3 LOT 4 - Leisure Team Member Level 2 The suppliers must be able to offer the fully published standard as detailed on the Skills England website. The contract term for learners enrolling shall ideally commence as soon as possible after contract award, for a period of 24 months with the option to extend at the discretion of the authority for 12 months. Additional information: There is the option to extend for a further 12 months at the sole discretion of the Authority. Values given are based on estimated learner numbers for the duration of the contract, including the possible extension period however there is no guarantee of value or volume of learners throughout the contract.
