## Summary

The University College London (UCL) is currently seeking a Technology Delivery Partner for its project, "Technology Delivery Partner for UCL's Extreme Citizen Science Sapelli Viewer." This procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on project management software packages and related electronic data management services. The tender is in the active stage with a deadline for submissions set for 8th January 2021. The work will primarily take place in London, with a contract period from 1st February 2021 to 29th October 2021. The procurement process is being conducted as a direct method via a single tender action.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for software development firms, particularly those with experience in project management and electronic data management systems. Businesses focused on industry-specific software development and those that cater to community-centric technological solutions will be well-suited to participate. Furthermore, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to apply, making this a significant chance for growth in the competitive public service technology sector.

## Notice

Over the last ten years, UCL's The Extreme Citizen Science group has developed two main technological infrastructures - Sapelli software to allow data collection by low-literacy participants, and GeoKey, a data management system for community mapping. We have also developed an engagement approach that allows for the co-production of the data collection process, and for sharing of the information in a culturally sensitive and ethical way. These developments were funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). We are now looking for a partner to help us with the software development side of Sapelli Viewer - a tool which will allow the communities we work with to visualise their data.
