## Summary

The contracting authority, Arden & GEM CSU, is initiating a tender process for the provision of Primary Care Medical Services for Bilston Urban Village, Ettingshall Medical Centre, and Penn Fields Health Centre in Wolverhampton, located within the West Midlands region. This tender is currently in the planning stage with completion of the market assessment due by 2.00 pm on 27th July 2018. The project aims to engage with potential providers to inform commissioning intentions and details regarding the service specifications have been made available for feedback. The maximum estimated contract value for the Bilston Urban Village and Ettingshall Medical Centre lot alone is approximately £1,008,329 per annum, emphasising the significance of this opportunity in the healthcare industry.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses engaged in delivering healthcare services, particularly those experienced in managing practices in areas with diverse patient populations, including those with complex needs. Providers that specialise in primary care and have capabilities to address the unique challenges associated with serving homeless individuals, refugees, and residents from high deprivation areas would be well-positioned to compete effectively for this contract. Furthermore, with extensive redevelopment planned in the region, organisations that can integrate community-focused care solutions may find their services in high demand.
