The event, scheduled for Thursday, 3 September 2020, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, will take place online and aims to engage existing and potential providers who can cater to care leavers, children looked after, and other vulnerable young individuals. This market engagement follows an open procedure tender method and is part of a planned future contract set to commence on 1 October 2020, with the contract period running until 31 December 2020. This market engagement presents a significant opportunity for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary community social enterprises, to expand their service offerings in the child and youth welfare sector. By participating in this event, organisations will gain valuable insights into the region's needs, network with key stakeholders, and contribute to shaping the upcoming contract, ultimately enhancing their chances of securing future contracts in the welfare services space. ## Notice MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT Staffordshire County Council, on behalf of the Local Authorities in the West Midlands are inviting interested organisations who can offer 'Supported Accommodation' for Young People who may be Care Leavers, Children Looked After, Young People presenting as Homeless and those that may be known to the Youth Offending Service/wider Children Services requiring accommodation for the West Midlands Region. The event seeks to engage with existing and new Providers that have the ability to deliver this service to Young People. The event will display experiences and present you with the opportunity to engage in smaller group sessions (further details will follow regarding this once everyone has booked their place). There will be an opportunity to listen to information received from Key Speakers and also Young People during the course of the event. It will be a great opportunity to plan and prepare for the New Contract for the region in July 2021. Your contribution and engagement is essential in terms of ensuring that Young People have a positive experience that prepares them for independence. Due to the high demand of this event, we are seeking one representative per organisation.
