## Summary

The Thames Tideway Tunnel project, led by BIP Solutions Limited, aims to manage combined sewer overflows (CSOs) by constructing a new storage and transfer tunnel. This procurement process is currently in the active tender stage, focusing on the installation and maintenance of a conveyor system for spoil transport. The contract period is scheduled from 12 August 2020 to 30 September 2021, located primarily in London. The procurement method is open, allowing all interested parties to submit tenders. The need for this system arises from the extensive works being undertaken across various key locations, including connections to existing infrastructure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in construction and engineering, particularly those specialised in conveyor systems and related technologies. Companies with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects in urban locations and those capable of meeting the technical requirements stipulated in the scope of work will find this contract appealing. The focus on sustainability and efficiency within this project further opens doors for innovative solutions in waste management, making it an attractive prospect for both established firms and SMEs looking to expand their portfolios.
