The reconstruction of Calder and Hebble junction under Phase 1bincorporating a new highway link will require planning consent, which in turn will necessitate supporting siteinvestigation surveys to be undertaken together with a confirmed preliminary design and transport appraisal tofull WebTAG standard. The ultimate aim of this commission is to prepare a Gateway 2 full Business Case toWYCA for which the planning consent, modelling appraisal and design confirmation is a prerequisite.
