## Summary

The procurement process pertains to the "SC21021 - C-Care Tech Resilience Voucher Scheme Framework," initiated by Kent County Council as part of an EU-funded project aimed at addressing socio-economic challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic. This framework falls under the information technology services category and is aimed at supporting businesses in the United Kingdom, specifically in Kent. The tender period concluded on 9th September 2021, with the awarded contract effective from 1st November 2021 until 12th October 2022. This open procurement process involves a total value of £300,000, reflecting the commitment to assist local enterprises in enhancing their resilience through digital solutions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the technology sector, seeking to expand their service offerings by assisting local Kent businesses in their digital transformation efforts post-pandemic. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in information technology, software development, or digital consultancy would be especially well-suited to compete for opportunities under this framework. By aligning their services with the objectives of the C-Care project, these businesses can contribute to and benefit from the economic recovery initiatives aimed at fostering resilience in the local economy.

## Notice

Kent County Council is leading on a new EU-funded project called C-Care (Covid Channel Area Response Exchange). The project aims to respond to some of the socio-economic challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic. C-Care involves 4 English and 3 French partner organisations who are jointly implementing the project. C-Care will provide support to businesses and individuals at risk of exclusion in the France-Channel England area to aid economic recovery. As part of this project, the Growth & Communities Division within Kent County Council will run a 'Technology Resilience' voucher pilot scheme to provide support to Kent businesses which have been impacted by the pandemic. The scheme is a non-statutory service and will enable Kent businesses to apply for a 'voucher' to implement a digital solution or project to help them with business resilience and economic recovery. The scheme is being funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Interreg France-Channel-England Programme.
