The focus on providing outcome-based services which can seamlessly operate across various points of the criminal justice system may attract those with innovative solutions and service delivery models, allowing them to contribute meaningfully to improving offender health within the community. ## Notice NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England (Midlands) is carrying out a market engagement exercise on Monday 28th March 2022, for the Provision of Non-Custodial Procurement for Integrated Offender Health Services (Birmingham & Solihull, Staffordshire and Stoke-On-Trent, and Black Country). As part of the market engagement event the commissioners are giving providers who are interested the opportunity for a 1:1 session. These will be for 20 minutes for which you will need to book. The ITT is scheduled to be published early May 2022 until mid-June 2022. The service(s) will commence on the 1st April 2023. The Integrated Offender Health Services incorporates Liaison & Diversion, Peer Support, RECONNECT and Mental Health Treatment Requirements into one service. This will enable a seamless service with flexibilities within the workforce model to respond to the complex needs of individuals in the criminal justice pathway. For this service provision, NHS England would like to encourage innovative solutions including strategic alliances which will deliver value for money and improved services to patients. The service provider will be required to deliver an outcome based high quality and integrated Offender Health Service which operates at various points of the criminal justice pathway including police custody, courts, community and prison release within the stated areas and across the Police Force footprint. The contract term for this procurement will be 3 years with an option to extend by 2 years (3 + 2 = 5) therefore 5 years in total. The aim of the market engagement exercise is to inform potential providers on the opportunity. The procurement will be in three separate lots: Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
