## Summary

The procurement process involves a Request for Quotation issued by the Oxford City Council for a feasibility study on the Shotover Bike Park. The project, categorised under services and specifically classified as 'Feasibility study, advisory service, analysis' (CPV code 71241000), is situated in the South East region of the United Kingdom. The procurement method utilised is a selective procedure, with the tender period concluding on 5th February 2021. The awarded contract, valued at £20,745, is set to commence on 6th April 2021 and will last until 30th September 2021.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in feasibility studies or advisory services, particularly those that offer solutions in the outdoor and sports sectors. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprises (VCSEs) could particularly benefit from competing, as they are encouraged in this process. Companies with expertise in developing accessible outdoor facilities or similar consultancy services would be well-suited to engage with this opportunity to expand their market presence.

## Notice

We wish to commission a feasibility study to provide an overview on site options and requirements to be able to formalise and actively promote the site as one of our facilities. Looking at similar designs, we are interested in how a graded system could work, similar to what is seen in Forestry Commission sites that comprise of 'green, blue, red, black' trails. We would also like to look at how we can create routes that aren't just for enthusiasts, but how we can encourage an increase in take up for the sport by encouraging 'green' trails for novices to engage.
