You will join an innovative, multi-award-winning team and lead it to further success. The Director PH is supported by a team of three permanent consultants and this opportunity. You will be ready to work hard and have fun with the job. You'll be outgoing, energetic and creative. We will look to you to come up with new ideas and make them a reality. Responsibilities will include playing a central role in our response to COVID-19 across a variety of settings. There may be other opportunities to also lead a variety of community-based health improvement programmes depending on the pandemic-related workload. However, we will always try to design your job to suit your interests. A good track record of working across a broad range of health protection areas, leading the acute incident response across a variety of settings, and working at a senior level in local government will be clear advantage. You will have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within six months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration.
