The work concerns certification for renewable electricity: a market-based tool that can help governments and businesses make and assure renewable electricity claims and support energy transition, decarbonisation and net-zero goals. It is also intended to support the ASEAN Power Grid and cross-border electricity trading. Delivery covers Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The buyer invited suppliers to submit quotations through an open procedure. Renewable energy (RE) certification has emerged as an important market-based tool to facilitate statements and assurance on renewable electricity and support government as well as the private sector in achieving their targets. In addition, RE certification would be a beneficial instrument in supporting the ASEAN Power Grid and the cross-border electricity trading in the region.
