The Council is now seeking a supplier to provide a comprehensive decarbonisation business support programme for businesses in North Northamptonshire. This programme should be designed to align closely with the key carbon-saving recommendations originating from the NN2NZ project (North Northamptonshire Net Zero Project) and have synergy with work on an emerging Climate Change Strategy for the area. It should build on the Green Recovery and Innovation Programme. There are four themes to be delivered: 1. Information and advice 2. Data gathering toolkit 3. Expert guidance 4. Business case development to implement improvements The contract will run until the end of February 2025. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government's Levelling Up agenda and provides PS2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.
