The Central Area Council Youth Work Fund has been established to deliver community-based and/or outreach/detached services for young people aged 13+ years across the Central Council area, to develop their social and life skills and strengthen emotional resilience, in preparation for a happy, healthy, and independent adulthood. The Youth Work Fund will look to commission projects from local providers and community organisations that will deliver community-based and/or outreach/detached services for young people aged 13+ years across the Central Council area, to develop their social and life skills and strengthen emotional resilience, in preparation for a happy, healthy, and independent adulthood. Participating young people should live in the five wards that make up the Central Council area. Project proposals will need to raise levels of aspiration in young people and widen horizon, foster and develop the personal interests of young people, & develop the social and life skills of young people aged 13+ years.
