## Summary

The West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority is currently involved in a tender process for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency repairs of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various sites in the West Midlands. This tender includes three lots: Black Country Area, Birmingham Area, and Coventry & Solihull Area, with bids invited for any or all lots. The final date for submissions was on 10 May 2018, and the contract period is set to span from 30 June 2018 to 29 June 2022, with a contract value of £260,000. The procurement process is classified under the CPV code for installation work related to heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in maintenance and repair services, particularly those experienced in HVAC systems. Companies that demonstrate technical competence and have qualified personnel familiar with Siemens Desigo PMX10 and Trend Control systems would be particularly well-suited to compete. Given that this contract spans four years, it presents a chance for contractors to establish a long-term relationship with the authority, enhancing service provision and potential for future contracts.
