The aim of the Occupational Health Physician Service is to maximise the Officer and staff resources available for the effective delivery of policing, by efficiently contributing to a reduction in sickness absence and ill health retirements, through: -Ensuring Officers and staff are medically fit for duties. -Contributing to the maintenance of staff wellbeing (physical and mental). -Fulfilling organisational duty of care by providing advice to managers to assist in managing work related health issues.
