## Summary

Trafford Council is initiating a tender for the "Rochdale Borough Council's Special Educational Needs & Disability Information, Advice and Support Service", aimed at enhancing support for children with special educational needs and disabilities in the North West region of the United Kingdom. This open procurement process is currently in the active tender stage, with submissions accepted until 7th April 2017. The contract is set to commence on 1st June 2017 and will run until 31st May 2020, with a total estimated value of £153,000 for the duration of the service, which falls under the health and social work services industry category.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses that specialise in providing information and support services within the health and social care sector, particularly those capable of delivering impartial, accessible, and user-responsive solutions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly well-suited to participate, as they often have the agility to meet the specific needs of the community and ensure inclusive involvement in service provision. Collaborative approaches with local user groups and organisations will also be advantageous for applicants seeking to make a meaningful impact in this tender.
