## Summary

The procurement process titled "Pharmacy Partners DPS: Tender Round 2" was initiated by the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which oversees community-based sexual health services in Birmingham and Solihull. This procurement falls under the community health services industry category and is classified as a selective procurement method, specifically a call-off from a dynamic purchasing system (DPS). The contract has a total value of £477,000 and commenced on 1st October 2018, with the initial contracts potentially expiring on 31st August 2020, subject to extension provisions. The tender period concluded on 23rd October 2017.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in community health services, particularly pharmacies, to expand their market presence. Businesses that offer innovative sexual health services or have experience within similar procurement frameworks will be well-suited to compete. Organised collaboration among community-based organisations and charities is encouraged, positioning those who can deliver quality health services effectively as strong contenders in this competitive landscape.
