## Summary

The West of England Combined Authority is seeking tenders for the "Regional Tourism Pilot Project," aimed at enhancing regional tourism through a strategic approach. This procurement falls under the administrative services related to tourism affairs category and encompasses the South West region of England, specifically Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. The tender period is set to end on 1 May 2019, with the project anticipated to commence on 1 June 2019 and run until 31 March 2020. The total estimated value of the contract is £100,000.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in tourism marketing, itinerary creation, or administrative services related to tourism. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) will find this an accessible opportunity, particularly those with expertise in enhancing visitor engagement and promoting regional attractions beyond traditional city-centre offerings. Engaging in this project could enable businesses to contribute to and benefit from the growth of the regional tourism sector.
