## Summary

The North West London Clinical Commissioning Group (NWL CCG) is currently in the planning stage for the "NWL0030 Somali Community Support Service - Harrow" procurement. This contract aims to provide essential support services in Harrow for Somali refugees, asylum seekers, and EU migrants, addressing various health and social issues within the community. Relevant documents, including an early engagement notice, were recently published on 28th January 2022. Interested parties should note that the engagement period ends on 1st March 2022, and the contract term could extend for up to three years starting from April 2023, depending on the needs assessment conducted by NWL CCG during the current contract period, which runs until 31st March 2023.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in community health services, language support, and cultural awareness training. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary/community sector enterprises (VCSEs) that can demonstrate expertise in engaging with diverse communities, particularly the Somali population, may find it advantageous to submit proposals. The focus on delivering health information, preventative care workshops, and community outreach makes this an ideal opportunity for organisations equipped to address the specific needs of vulnerable groups, thereby enhancing their service reach and impact within Harrow.
