## Notice

The Service will aim to prevent and reduce homelessness amongst 18 - 23 year olds as a result of a breakdown in the family / household relationship. This will be achieved through family / household mediation. The service will find ways of working with young people and their families to achieve sustainable solutions to family / household conflict by: Engaging with young people at the earliest opportunities to intervene and prevent homelessness from occurring Reestablishing contact where the young person is no longer living in the family home Educating young people and their families on the effects and realities of homelessness Working with young people and their families / carers to find solutions so the young person can remain at home, return home on a permanent basis.
