The first phase of the development which is due to be completed in Summer 2023 will see a dedicated creative learning space built at the front of the Theatre. Malvern Hills District Council is looking for suitably qualified Mechanical & Electrical Design Services for phase 2 of the development. The second phase will deliver the following: 1. A 3,190 m2 extension involving the demolition of the existing changing rooms to accommodate the following interactive spaces: a. new studio theatre b. two workshop spaces c. photogtaphy/film editing and sound studio d. dressing room facilities e. breakout areas and catering 2. The construction of an external amphitheatre overlooking Priory Park 3. An external lift to improve access for all members of the community 4. An upgrade to the Forum Theatre, increasing the seating capacity to 1400 seats. Please see the procurement documents for further information.
