The Transactional Service Centre (TSC) - Assessment Centre and Billing & Debt are procuring a document imaging and management system to manage documents relating to Revenues and Benefits. In addition to these business areas we would require the same solution for managing documents relating to other areas of the TSC. The document management system will be used to scan, index and store documents from residents and businesses. It will have a workflow solution which will allow documents to be passed to relevant teams to process and respond to correspondence. It needs to integrate with the back office processing systems. Cheshire West and Chester Council is a unitary Authority which has approximately 156,000 dwellings, 11,000 NDR hereditaments, 25,000 Benefit applicants, 5,000 free school meal recipients and 9,000 Social Care clients.
