Once a user has enrolled onto a course, the platform then allows them to complete their training and receive a certificate once complete. It is used annually by thousands of users with a plan to continue developing it further. It is a Moodle platform (currently software version 4.3) with a range of Moodle 'plug-ins' (plus some bespoke coding). The basic scope is to host and provide application support for a Moodle estate which comprises; > A live environment > A test environment (to mirror Live) > A development environment The Live instance (NIHR Learn) interfaces with other systems (e.g. CPMS) via an API, and has single sign on functionality with IDG.
