A targeted update to our Engines of Prosperity documents from 2016-17, to clarify key mills statistics. Research and updates to the publication to be undertaken and produced by the consultants who produced the original document. Outputs required: 1. A short report which explains the methodology, assumptions, and data sources used in the analysis (including a clear explanation of the valuation challenges addressed in creating the GVA figures), as well as the key statistics broken down at each of the following levels: * each individual local authority areas in PL, GM, & WY * each of the three wider mill areas (PL, GM and WY individually) * the North West (PL and GM together) * the northern mills region as a whole (PL, GM and WY together) 2. A professional externally-facing Engines of Prosperity update using the branding approach adopted in the North West edition of Engines of Prosperity. a. The update should be a single document covering the whole area included in the two previous Engines of Prosperity reports (WY, GM and PL). b. The document should be suitable for adding to the Historic England website as a standalone PDF, as well as being inserted as an addendum to the front of the existing Engines of Prosperity - West Yorkshire and Engines of Prosperity - North West reports c. This document must include: i. All key statistics from the above analysis at a whole northern mills region level, as well as a selection of statistics at the other three levels. ii. Overview of the methodology used. iii. Overview of the repositioned policy / funding environment since the original report. We are the public body that looks after England's historic environment.
