Approximately PS70 million is allocated to a Payment by Result scheme, which aims to incentivize LocalGovernment Authorities (LGAs) to focus on effective monitoring and maintenance of their water infrastructures.When participating in the PbR scheme, LGAs will report the functionality status of Water Points (WPs) in theirrespective jurisdictions. These results will be checked and cleaned by the Central Data Management Team(CDMT) at the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MoWI) before being provided to the DVSP. The DVSP will verifythis data which DFID will use as the basis for calculating the magnitude of results-based incentive payments to be made to each LGA.
