The contract will also be procured in line with the Parks and Open Spaces strategy, and all relevant existing and future parks specific strategic documents in line with Green Flag best Practice standards In 2005 the Council agreed an Open Space Strategy for the borough, which sets out LBTH intentions for protecting and improving public parks, open spaces and other landscape areas in the public realm. Updated in 2016, it includes commitments to improve the accessibility and quality of sites and service provision.
