The Council is making an investment of more than PS1.5m in the conversion and fit out of the space to create a space aimed at encouraging the establishment and growth of knowledge-based businesses Network will contribute to the City Council delivering its objectives: * To nurture new and growing knowledge-based businesses * To encourage collaborative endeavour between businesses and to increase academic/business interaction in the development of new businesses * To generate new business networks and to provide links into existing sources of expertise, business support and funding * To provide a hub for community digital inclusion initiatives The building will provide a mix of cellular office and meeting space, maker space, a photographic studio and flexible open plan space for use by co-workers and for meetings and events. This element of the project is to dovetail into the other project components; fit out, and the management of the service to run the facility.
