Safe and secure sharps disposal is vital to eliminate the risks that come with handling and managing sharps waste Incorrectly controlled sharps bin waste obviously pose a serious health risk to anyone who handles them, be it through cuts, infection or blood borne viruses which are often left on needles, syringes or other sharps waste This contract is for provision of a clinical waste collection service from those pharmacies across Cornwall who participate in delivering Pharmacy Needle and Syringe Exchange.
