## Summary

The procurement process is being conducted by NHS England, which seeks to enhance the uptake of the flu vaccine among social care workers in the North West region of England. The tender, titled "Improve the uptake of the flu vaccine in social care workers," is classified under health services and has an estimated value of £16,000. The current procurement stage is open, with a tender period that concludes on 2nd September 2021. Notably, the contract period is set to commence on 1st October 2021 and will run until 31st December 2021.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in health services, particularly those focused on immunisation and public health promotion. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) would particularly benefit, as NHS England encourages participation from these sectors. Companies that can offer innovative solutions for vaccination programmes and have the capacity to engage directly with social care workers will be well-placed to compete effectively for this contract.
